I get a lot of comments when we go camping. People often wonder how I do it. Well, it's simple actually. My kids enjoy camping so much, they behave much better than when we are at home. They love the great outdoors, and can hardly wait when daddy brings the camper home to load it up for the weekend. Every day we have to tell them how many more days until we go camping. Seth was so excited this time around, the first thing he said when he woke up the morning we were to leave is, "Puppy wants go camping!!!" Speaking of his little companion, Puppy. This time was different from all the others though, because Grandma and Grammie went with us. The extra hands were very nice, I must admit, and the kids loved having their grandma's along for the trip. Speaking of grandma's...Grammie bought them all little campers at the camp store. Seth still hasn't put his down.

As you can see from the pictures, Camper (or Campie- as he likes to call it sometimes) went with us on every adventure...from the beach to the playground. Everything Seth did, Camper was right there with him. Grace and Elaina loved theirs too, and insisted on taking it along for every bike ride and ice cream run we made. Their campers also went to the beach and the playground. Their other favorite toy of the weekend were some 19 cent balloons Grandma picked up for them before we left. Ahhh....those were the days, when all it took to make me happy was a toy camper and some cheap balloons! I know this trend will change very soon, as they will move on to wanting the newest form of PlayStation available. I will remind myself to enjoy the simple things while they last!

I’m not sure about you. But when I’m in “the middle” of the crisis of the
moment and I pray for help or direction...I want a way out...like right
